Company Overview
"God sees them. So do we."

We work with an average of 20 to 25 street kids, between the ages of 6 to 15. A majority of these kids work to make a living by selling candies or playing musical instruments on street corners and buses. We offer a weekly program that consists of worship, biblical teaching, manual crafts, refreshments and sports activities. This weekly program provides a safe environment for our street kids, allowing us to develop and strengthen our friendships. Through these relationships we gain the trust needed to share Jesus’ lifestyle as described in the Bible, through teaching and activities.

“You are honored and precious in my sight.” Isaiah 43:4
Description
We believe that God wants to give us His eyes to see those who struggle in extreme poverty, striving to teach ways to break the cycle of material poverty by providing clothing, food, resources, and life-skills training (Matthew 25:31-46). We also see their spiritual poverty. So, we build personal relationships with them and share teachings and encouragement from the Bible (James 1:27; 2:14-17).
General Information
The Meaning of El Roi:

“El Roi” is one of the Hebrew names for God in the Bible. El Roi translates into “the God who sees.” An Egyptian servant girl named Hagar gave God this name during an encounter with Him in the desert (Genesis 16: 1-13). Sarai’s mistreatment of her maidservant, Hagar, made her feel rejected, unimportant, and insignificant. Hagar may have even felt invisible to the world around her. However, God saw this broken woman and called out to her by name in the midst of her distress.
